Disappointing!
I live in the Southwest in a warm area with low humidity.I purchased the unit at the beginning of last summer, and I had high hopes that this machine would provide some cooling comfort for my bedroom. I am sorry to report that I was sorely disappointed. I followed the directions exactly, but the unit did not cool my bedroom even one degree. It is noisy, and it requires constant water refills. I am giving it 2 stars ONLY because it does function as an EXPENSIVE fan and humidifier. However, in my experience, it got no stars as a cooling device. I donated the unit to a charity and I will look for some other device to cool my bedroom during the coming summer.
