This is the second of these I have have bought, the first is so good I purchased another of the same model. The first one I bought is now three years old and still works fine. It is used to cool a kitchen and dining room of about 340 square feet and does so easily even when cooking in the kitchen. Features a remote control, easy to access permanent washable filter, 3 speed fan and cooling control and a thermostat control that works great with an energy saver selection. It is loud on the high fan position but on medium or low it is ok. In Texas we need really cool air and this air conditioner although small puts out really cold air. The adjustable side panels do have to be installed but that takes less than 5 minutes with only a screwdriver.
