Nicely Made But Does Not Fit 12 Oz. Cans
My mistake, but I want to let everyone know that this product does not fit 12 oz. cans of R-134A. I just saw the description and ordered it without verifying the specifications it is made to. I am not a refrigeration system expert and do not know if there are more than one specification for a "can", but the product I received slides cleanly over the threaded protrusion on the top of the R-134a can and the fitting for the hose does not fit my gauge set.

It is a nicely made product and I believe I would be happy with it if it did fit the R-134a can. The description of the prouduct on Amazon does not truly reflect the function of the product. One nice feature I think I would like is the large diameter fluted brass knob (looks like a flange or washer in the product photo) which would allow you to snug it down on the can outer flange and stabilize the entire valve to prevent it from deforming the threads on the R-134a can and creating a leak.
